Setup & Settings:

Plex Web Player

Plex offers the convenience of accessing content through the Plex Web Player from any supported browser.

Open your browser, go to Plex.tv, and sign into your Plex account.

From the home screen, click the wrench icon in the top right.

——

In the left column, under the header “Plex Web,” select Quality.
Adjust all the settings to match:
Automatically adjust quality (Beta): Un-Checked
Video quality: Maximum
Play smaller videos at original quality: Checked
Home Streaming: Use recommended settings: Checked
Make sure to click Save Changes.

——

Back in the main settings menu, in the left column, select Online Media Sources.

——

Under Online Media Sources, select each source, click Edit, and from the drop-down menu, select “Disabled” and Save Changes. Repeat this for all sources listed.

——

By default, Plex gives you access to all their “free” libraries, which are full of ads. We want to ignore these and make sure only our libraries are visible.

Go back to the home screen, click the home button on the top left, then select “More” at the very bottom to show all libraries.

——

You should see two sets of libraries. The ones we want are labeled “SpaceChef J.A.R.V.I.S.” on top.

(If you don’t see it, make sure you’ve accepted the original invitation. Please reach out if you still don’t see it.)

——

Click the pin icons on the libraries at the bottom and select Unpin for all of the “Plex” libraries.

——

Next, hover over the SpaceChef libraries, click the three dots, and select Pin for each one.

——

Click the <Pinned button at the top to go back home. You should now only see the SpaceChef Libraries and no longer see the Plex ones.

——

To change the order of the libraries, on the home page, click the three dots next to the library you want to move and select “Reorder.” Rearrange the library order as needed.
